    Negative tests, but symptoms
I don't know what to do? I think I am pregnant. I have taken 4 home tests, one at the doctors, and a blood test. All came out negative. I am 4 months late. I am like clock work I'm never late. I have all the symptoms, and I'm sure I feel a lot of movement inside. My husband, aunt and mom felt movement when they touched my tummy. After the blood came back negative. My mom and hubby don't want to talk about it. I feel alone and don't know what to do? I have asked my doctor and she told me that she thinks that I am in the early stages of pregnancy even though my tests are negative.

The only way to know for sure is to have an ultrasound done. I am surprised if your doctor truly does think you are pregnant, they haven't suggested this already.

Nothing is really 100% these days. Medical science and the understanding of it only goes so far. No matter how accurate these things are these days, there is always a margin of error. Some women don't ever have their hcg levels show on a hpt, or a qualatative blood test. However, if you get a Quantative blood test, this will measure the Exact amount of hcg in your system. The test will then be redone within a few days, in order to see if the numbers are doubling as they should in a normal pregnancy. In this case, a ultrasound should also be ordered. I agree with macksmom, that I'm surprised that they haven't taken farther steps yet, as you are four months late, and she agrees that you may be pregnant. I would suggest that you go to them and demand more testing. If they won't provide it, find a new doctor.
