Issuance of writs in Florida
What is the procedure in the state of Florida for collecting late child support payments. I have read online that they will do an "issuance of writs" on the noncustodial parent. My fiancé is presently serving 45 days for a VOP. He is 6 months behind on his child support and I am terrified when he gets out that day, they will be standing there to rearrest him for his late child support. How can I check to see if there is a warrant for this? Is this what this "issuance of writs" is called? I have done an online check of his driver's license and it is currently valid as of today? Does the state of Florida have to suspend his license first, before they can arrest him? I am sooo scared because if they do rearrest him that day it will cause a second VOP which will send him to prison for 3 years. Someone help please!!
