I am about to start Clomid and I need a little guidance. I started barely spotting for my period on Friday but my full blown bleeding didn't start until Sunday. Do I count the 5 days to start Clomid from the spotting day or the full blown bleed day?

You need to call your doctor... they have a nurse on staff that would be able to answer this over the phone. Each doctor has a different plan.

Like me,

You say your doctor has you starting Clomid on day 5 of your cycle... my doctor has me start on day 3.
I have very irregular periods, in flow, length, etc. My doctor told me the first day of spotting is considered day 1 of your cycle.

So while I would say count Friday as day 1, you should call your doctor to make sure.
