Why do vegetables freeze in my refrigerator crisper? It's an Amana bottom freezer appliance. I've set the refrigerator section at 38 degrees and the freezer compartment at zero degrees. The two crispers then go down to 30 degrees. Any suggestions?

Cold air falls. You might need to adjust the temp setting while having the thermostat on the lower rack in the rear to compensate. In other words it might say 38 degrees on your temp gauge but it is actually much colder the lower you go into th refer section.
