    Dog eat a/c wire, world!
My Dog has chewed through my carrier a/c wires and I really need to reconnect them back, how do I do so. There are green, red, and white wires?

Connect the same colors back together.

If it is the wire to an outside unit, and there isn't enough left to do as above, go to the furnace and run a new pair of wires from the Y and com terminals of the furnace to the coil terminals of the contactor. The outside compressor unit should only need the 2 wires. If the third wire is used, it may go to Y2 where the thermostat controls a 2 stage unit.

My one puppy not only chewed the control wires, but the foam on the vapor tube too, and was working on the flex for the 240.
