I don't understand why women complain about the lack of single men. I find the opposite is true for me. I live in a small town and I find there are very few prospects for a single man approaching 30. Women usually leave town after high school and the few who stay tend to be married by 18 or 19, which leaves almost no single women for men like me. Anyone in a similar town have any advice? I have a preference for older, mature women who have outgrown partying and bars.

I am also from a small town, but I honestly don't see that problem. I know lots of single people.
I agree, its better to date a person who is out of the partying scene, have you tried at the gym, or library? Maybe even online?
