How do I get license, bonded and insured for a cleaning business in Georgia?
Go to the county clerk in your town or nearest government centre, tell them what you want to do and apply for your license, and a business number for state taxes you have charge; get your liability insurance through your insurance company, or ask where you can find the best policy , then get a background check done at your local police station to prove you have never been a convicted felon. After that, start your cleaning business.
In other words, it isn't easy, you will still have to do foot work buttafly !
Okay, folks, have I left anything out ?
A couple of other great sites that you might want to consult concerning your cleaning business are http://www.sba.gov/ and SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" It just might be that you won't be required to have to be licensed or bonded in order to do cleaning work where you will be working. Information about those and other things that you will need to do in order to start and run a small business are also available on those sites. So, having a license may not be an absolute. Being bonded, even if not required by the state, might make you look better in the eyes of potential customers.
