If a child has no contact with bio parent does he have to appear in court?
I have a child not by my husband and he would like to adopt her, her bio father has nothing to do with her how can my husband adopt her? We have no known contact information for the bio father.

You would have to prove to the courts that you tried to contact him and wasn't able to. Also you would have to prove that he does in fact "have nothing to do with her"
It is difficult to do this without consent from the bio father but can be done if the necessary steps are done.

    Get a family lawyer.

They'll walk you through the correct steps to make sure that nothing is missed.
