    Pilot needs lit
    Hi I have an old luxaire heater and the pilot light went out and I can't seem to find the pilot to light it can anyone help me

    If it like most furnaces the lower part houses the blower fan

    The upper part houses the HEAT EXCHANGER and BURNERS

    The pilot should be under the burners, and has small tube feeding it

    I think down flow furnaces are more common than up flow ones. They can also be horizonal. Follow the gas pipe into the furnace. It should end at a box with the pilot controls.
