    On my own
    I am 22 single and I have a 2year old son. My question is this, My son's father has not seen him since he was two weeks old and I want him to turn his rights over, but he will not do it, is there a legal way to get his rights taken away, I do not want my son to have anypart of this man and he is sure not standing up for my son. Please I need help.:(

    Wonder girl is right, I don't know what state you are in, but in some states after a yr of no attempt to make contact it is considered abandonment. And you might be able to use that to your advantage. But getting a lawyer really would be your best bet to petition the court. GL
