Circuit board? Or something else? Burner fail to ignite
Greetings all, I can't believe I am here again.
Anyway, my Lennox G27M is not working again. (it's almost 10 yrs old, a two-stage gas furnace and 80% efficiency.)
This time, the code is saying that the burners fail to ignite.
So I have a hvac tech over and he did some checking with the volt meters (or amp meter). He explains that it is the Surelight circuit board that is the problem as a connection is not holding properly. He even got the furnace to start by pushing the connection so I somewhat believe him.
Now, I am just wondering if it is possible to be something else at faults.
Thanks a lot.
Michael
P.S. I have had issues with this furnace for the past two winters. Basically, the furnace would stop heating for whatever reason but would work again for no reason, see https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/heatin...old-54476.html.
Could a faulty circuit board be responsible for this?
