What medications are you on? Cholestrol meds, birth control pills, steroids, beta blockers, diretics and glucocorticoids can have an affect on your triglycerides. Also alcohol and some sugars. Substitute olive oil and foods containing omega fatty acid for bad fats whenever possible they are the good cholestrols.
