    Harassment
I found out that my spouse is having an affair with a coworker. I sent him him an email in which I outlined my knowledge and what my expectations were. Although the language was not pretty, it was also not physically threatening but did have itemized divorce requirements. He forwarded these to his now girlfriend. In the email, I use quite several explitives in describing her. He and I emailed back and forth today and without my knowledge he was forwarding these to her. She took out an "order to stop harassment" against me which she placed on my doorstep tonight. How can this effect me? What will be the next step? Thanks, C

I'm not really sure what to tell you to do, but I hope to all that is good that the homewrecking hoe gets her butt handed to her if she tries to prosecute you.

I don't know how you are harassing her. You haven't sent anything to her directly have you?
I would also stop the emails. If he is sharing everything with her, what is the point?

Stop the e-mails and go to a lawyer. Print off the e-mails you sent to your husband that show she is not included. Have the lawyer help you with the next step.

The best advice so far has come from Tuscany. One thing I was going to say was see a lawyer. If you are getting a divorce then that is what you need to do. Also, I would also advice to stop emailing this person, what's the purpose? The only result so far is drama. Nothing is getting accomplished, nothing positive is coming out of these emails. Only negative stuff is coming out of these emails. I also don't see where you are harassing her. What is an "order to stop harassment" where did she get that? Is it something official, does it come from the court or police or what? I've never heard of anything like that. School me. But stop with the emailing already.

Again - you are answering very old questions. This one is from 2007. Please keep on eye on the dates.

I doubt anything serious will happen because you didn't intentionally send them to her.
