They should have it right in their manual rules that it is against policy to date
But being the **married** boss I am sure you don't have a leg to stand on!

I'm sure there is something on the books. I think it is wrong ethically, but unless you are a minor, if you did this on your own and knew he was married, IMO it's on you.

Did his wife find out and give him the "talk" that it is either get rid of you (fire you) or lose his family?

Are you a contracted employee? Or are you an at-will employee? A person can be fired for just about any reason and sometimes employers do not need to drum up a reason - "no fault" employment.

If you knew he was married and you did know he was the boss - then this is on both your shoulders - he is releasing you to get pressure off him. Cheesy and sleazy but that is the way of some company bosses. Consult an attorney if you want but you have the burden of proof then he wrongfully terminated you.

When you make bad choices, sometimes it's best to just bite the bullet. Learn from your mistake and not repeat in instead of trying to make some else pay.

Seems the wife is the real boss. You will look pretty bad pushing this one.
