    Wording on 30th Anniversary Cake
    Hi friends,

It is my darling wife and my 30th Wedding Anniversary on Christmas Eve and I am arranging for a cake (2 cakes) made up of a 3 and 0.

I am completely at a loss as to what words to use. Of course we are limited by the shape and size of the cake.

Has anyone any suggestions please about how to word the cake?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I wouldn't put wording on the cakes. The shape of the cakes is the wording in this case. The cakes just need a nice design on them (flowers or such) and they will be perfect.

    Posidion,

    How about "Thank" and "You"?

I think the years would add a nice touch too... didn't think of that. Great idea poseidon. Congrats on 30 years!

To add to the other posters ideas have the cake decorated in her favorite colors. Congratulations on 30 years.

Congratulations on 30 years! The shape of the cakes does pose a bit of a problem for wording, but I'm sure that who ever is making the cake has been doing it a while and can figure out some placement for the words.

I realize this is a bit long, but just a suggestion... "30 gone with 30 more to come"

Well, in that case... are you wanting it to be completely romantic or would it be a problem to be a bit funny? I don't know you or your wife... are y'all into humor? If you are, you could try, "30 years gone......now what?"

That way she doesn't feel like she's trapped... lol...

    Hi bushq,

    You are right of course.

I can see us now struggling down the street together with out walking frames 30 years from now.

We virtually go everywhere and do everything together, and have done since we were married.

If one of us is out on our own, everyone wants to know where the other is.

In the UK we are known as Derby and Joan which is an affectionate name for people like us.

    Hi Aveasean,

Yep, we certainly do have a good sense of humour. And are always trying to make people smile and laugh.

There does not seem to be so much humour around lately and we think every little helps.
