I dyed my hair about 5 days ago dark brown. The first time I washed my hair after I dyed it, the water was a little brown. Now, 5 days later the water is still brown, but not as much. Does this mean my hair color is coming out? I use regis brand hydrating shampoo and conditioner and I really don't want to switch because it's the only shampoo that works for me.

Was it a permenet dye?

After you color your hair, you have to rinse out the color completely until the water runs clear. If the water is a little brown still, it's probably because there's excess hair color left on your hair that didn't rinsed off from first time you washed it. You will see the water getting clearer the next time you wash your hair.
