Landlord is being foreclosed in Ohio
I just found out that the house I've been renting for 3 years is being foreclosed. I had to do a court check on my landlord to find out, he didn't even tell us! I just need to know about how much time I have and if there is anything I can do. I live in Ohio. Thank you.

You will know if you have to move if they give you a notice. You may want to contact your landlord or the local court and ask them what you should be doing, but I would seriously consider starting to look for a new place.

    Hello missy:

If the foreclosure occurs, you can be forced out with VERY little notice. Legally, your lease ENDS at foreclosure. After that, you're a trespasser, and aren't legally entitled to ANY notice, and could be put out immediately.

That's probably NOT going to happen, but you have NO guarantee that it won't.

They will send out a sherriff with a notice and hand it to you... they will also slap a sticker on the door. It will have the court date to be sold on it. I believe they give you 30 day's.
