Feeling sick- what have I got?
Hey everyone! I am going up to the city with my best friend tomorrow, but I'm not feeling so hot. I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out what I have and maybe give me some suggestions on how to get better, faster? See, I'm almost never sick (one cold, in three years), and I'm not really sure what I'm up against. Here are my symptoms:

    -sore throat
    -aches and fatigue
    -chills
    -headache
    -nausea/ vomiting

So, yeah. I don't have a thermometer, so I don't know if I have a fever, but I kind of feel like I do because I'm really hot and cold at the same time. Is there a way of checking for a fever without a thermometer?

Thanks everyone! I really want to get better ASAP. There's no way I'm missing out on my trip!

-EDIT Okay, I bought a thermometer and took my temp. It was 100.4 about 1/2 hour ago, and is now 102.1 (so, it's rising, I guess). So, I guess I do have a fever after all.-

You probably have the flu. Call the pharmacy, or you doctor and get something for it. Drink lots of water because you are probably dehidrated from vomiting.

Please don't go on the trip you have planned. There are hundreds of people you will be around and they do not want what ever it is that you have. Stay in drink liquids, take something like nyquil for the achy feeling and about seven days you will be over it.
