    Can this be implantation?
I AM 29 years old and have irregular periods 35-45 days. Last week in Wed 28th - Nov I saw brownish discharge and next morning I saw some pink discharge but only upon wiping with tp. Then the following day when I wiped with tp, I saw a little discharge with a thin streak of red blood. I also felt my periods were starting. Then after a couple of hours it was all gone. No cramping, no abnormal discharge ever since. I tested a couple of times but negative result each time. There is no sign of periods. Can this be implantation bleeding? If yes when should I test for pregnancy?

Implantation bleeding is a medically stable issue, it's not really something that has been prove or what not. It may be, but it might not be, It'sprobably just your period being strange. Wait a few days and see if the regular period comes, if not, take a test.

Had a similar problem last period (spotting) and have had pregnancy test that come up negative, as time goes on though my syptoms of pregnancy increase. Fingers crossed for you that is all it is, but I know form experience thyroid problems can also screw up your period.

So are you pregnant now? Its already been 1 week for me ever since my spotting showed. I am beginning to get soreness in breasts but as such no cramping yet. No spotting also.

Actually had another test and still not pregnant, but I swear I am. My husband and I were talking about it and I realised with my first this all happened, they got the dates wrong because it didn't show I was pregnant until I was about 2 months.

I am hoping that this will happen again, if I miss a period on the 22nd of December I will know its time for another test and probably a good sign.

Keep us updated I hope it all goes well for you, unfortunately time seems to be the key :)

Implantation bleeding has not been proven beyond the shadow of a doubt. What is believed to be "implantation bleeding" is usually when the fertilized ovum implants within the womb in what would be approximately the menstrual period. This may explain the slight bleeding.

When you are testing make sure you are using first morning urine as the concentration of hCG is higher in the morning than any other time of day.

Actually, Last Sunday (approx. 1 week after that slight bleeding incident) I tested and it came out negative. I am still not having any symptoms of pregnant and no periods yet. Also I had my thyroid checked a few months ago and it was normal.
