I have a kenmore 80series washer, and the center basket thing that holds the load is loose and is shaking violently. Is there any way to fix this? I've tried everything I could but can't remove the center spinner thing to get to the bottom. Thanks in advance for any help.

Remove the fabric dispenser. Then remove the cap. YOu will find a 7/16" bolt. It may have worked loose.

Check at the water supply hose. Is there cold water there? If water to the supply but not to the unit, remove the screen at both ends of the hose to check for obstructions.

I got the fabric dispenser off, how do you remove the cap of a kenmore series 80 washer?
