We have a Daschund that is not feeling well at all. He is acting like he has pain in his body. He would just all of the sudden start yelping and crying after jumping sometimes causing him to urinate and have bowel movements on our floor. He is also like he is sick. He does not want to be away from you. All he does is lay on you. He doesn't want to eat. We have taken him to the vet and they gave him a shot which they thought it may be his back. This is not working. He doesn't want to do anything at all. Just remain close tou you. It is like he has the flu but joint problems. Someone please help. Thank you

Take him BACK to the vet... This sounds serious. I would search for the closest 24 hour vet clinic... and take him...

You need to let the vet know the shot didn't work. If you don't choose to find care tonight, give him a buffered aspirin, not Tylenol, etc. but real aspirin, 5 mg per pound of body weight. For a Daschund, you may need to start with a lower dose baby aspirin.
