Please help me out here, I am really tensed, I am 17 girl but everyone says to me that you look about 11-12, my height is exact 5, so please give me tips to grow really really fast and look older than my age, please I really apreiciate that, I have came 2 this web site only for your help... IF U Won't HELP ME... THEN

It is such a paradox. Youngsters want to look mature and older, and older people want to look younger. Anyway, you could increase your height with the folllowing :
1) Swimming
2) Jumping
3) Stretching
4) Pull-ups (hanging yourself with your arms)
Since you are only 17, you can very well increase your height before you become 20. All the best.

Are your parents short? Are some of your relatives short?
This is controlled by Genes in the body, and you inherent height, as well as weight sometimes.
You will probably grow a little more, but don't expect to be 6 ft 4in by the time you are 20.
Be yourself, and you will eventually find a girl who likes you for who you are; not for who you want to be.

Are you the same young lady who wants to get married soon? Are you planning on running away to do that? Well, no matter for what reason, there is no quick growth magic anywhere, you just have to let nature take it's course, and you might still be growing a little, depending on your genes and metabolism. Also, if all the people in your family are about the same size, you have to live with it. Plus, there is no way we can reach through the computer monitor and zap you into being taller. The only other alternative I can suggest is to dress up, and wear some make-up to help you look a little older. Maybe wear some high-heeled shoes and a dress instead of sneakers and jeans. There is a surgical procedure which involves breaking your leg bones and inserting pins or extensions - but this would be very painful and take a long time in hospital - and I don't think you want to go through that.. Most of us 'short' people still have a full and happy life without being all stressed about it. Please relax and accept yourself the way you are, and start enjoying life instead of being in a hurry to go through sudden changes. Good luck.Quote:

You should be happy to look younger than you are when you get to my age, you will wish you still looked younger than you are. Height, weight, and body style, are all hereditary. You can do what the other member has told you to do which is very. You can also try high heels wearing, make up, changing your hair style, or even they way you dress. I know you want to look at least your age but try to look at it as a gift also.

What he's trying to get through to you is that you need to like yourself the way you are, because if you don't like yourself and want to try hard to be someone else, how can you expect someone to like you and believe them. Everyone grows and matures at their own pace. You may be just one of those who's experiencing a late growth spurt. Have you matured in other ways? Breasts developed, voice deepened (compared to when you were 11 or 12), begun menstruating? If so, then you'll probably just be one of those people who's a little on the short side. Actually a lot of adult women are just 5 ft. tall or even a little shorter, so your height is not all that uncommon. If, however, you haven't yet exeprienced pubetry then you may want to consult with a physician. What about your diet? Do you have a history of some eating disorder? Do you undereat in order to keep your weight down for some sort of activity in which a slim body composition is considered to be desirable, such as gymnastics or cheerleading? Poor eating habits can delay the onset of pubetry in young girls. If your diet is adequate and you have not experienced the usual pubetry-related body changes then you should talk with a doctor. You could have an underlying gland condition that is treatable with medication.
In today's world of cosmetic surgery to fix anything we see young girls becoming more and more unhappy with aspect of their bodies.The solution is to spend a whole bunch of money to a rich doctor so they can feel better.The problem I think is not in the body but in the mind!Every human being is unique in themselves so what is there to fix?I think these young girls would be better advised to working on and fixing the part between the ears that gives them such a low body image of themselves,if you think your ugly you are but you don't have to be. It really is up to the individual to take stock and accept themselves as they are.Big boobs or a nose job don't make you a good woman ,a good heart does.When are we going to learn that a person has to be beautiful from within before they can be attractive from without.--So says the short little fat guy! :cool:
Chery, I tried to rate you for the useful information you've provided, but the system told me to spread my reputation around. Aapki_hamdard, you shouldn't be in such a hurry to grow up, your time will come. Girls grow another inch or two from the time of their first menstrual cycle until age 18. I've read your previous posts about your interest in a guy, and it seems to me that you want to look older for him. There are aspects of your body you cannot change, you can change your beliefs and attitudes which influence the way you feel about yourself. Change starts with you, it is internal and it starts with self respect and a positive attitude. It is important to focus on your health and education and not your height or a guy. Enjoy being a teenage girl, you will have plenty of time to pursue a serious relationship in the future.Quote:

I am a 17 years old girl , I have 5 ft and also the people give me 12 years old... :) , but I got used to this... you don`t have what to do.if you search on the internet, there are also celebrities who are very small, just like us.everybody likes them... they are sexy, beautiful and small.all you have to do is to be yourself and show to people how wonderful you are, and I assure you that everybody would like you... because you are small,beautiful and very cute.I had a complex on my height... but all by myself I realised that it doesn't matter how tall you are.you have to be proud by what you are.find a quality at you that you most like and put it first... and be proud. I saw something about a guy... that you said.we attract guys who like to love a girl, not to sleep with her... that guys who are with you only for your cuteness and for my, this is the type of guy I want.soooooooo, stop being sad and enjoy life as it is. Ahm, hi, personally I don't see what you all are worrying about. I'm of the same age as you but I'm a guy so I know what I'm saying is to be true. Many of my chick friends are around the same height some are even shorter. They are also around 5-5"2 etc etc.
And if these are guy issues forget about it!:) I bet you lot have many coming after you.
