    Out Of Curiousity
So here is what I've been wondering, this has been a discussion amongst my friends for a couple of days: One of my friends had unprotected sex, she had been having some pregnancy like symptoms (like her breasts being sore... I told her symptoms don't show up for a few weeks but she was still having them... she had them for almost a week before she started... ), But then she started her period, she says that it hasn't been "Normal" though, not for her, Intsead of red-red, its dark reddish brown, and slimey and slightly clottish and it has been light, exspecially for her So what we've all been arguing about is whether she might be pregnant. I know that its still possible to have your period even when you're pregnant exspecially early on,if she is the conception would have been anywhere from, a week and a half to three days before she started her period. She swears up and down that he didn't actually inside of her, and I told her that it doesn't matter precum has sperm in it. Im hoping that if she sees some of the awnsers that you guys give her will convince her it's a possibility...

There is a huge posibiliy that she could be pregnant. It's as simple as getting a doctor's apointment or if she doesn't feel comfortable going to a doctor, get a home pregnancy test instead. Even if you're on birth control or you're having your period there still is a huge chance that she could be pregnant. My mother was on birth control for all six of her kid and she even bled. So, I suggest dong something about it instead of just worrying if something's wrong. She will feel much better knowing what's wrong. Best of luck!

Of course she can be pregnant. The withdrawal method is NOT an effective method of birth control. Pre-ejaculate does indeed contain sperm.

Now, with that said, she got her period. Typically amenhorrea is the first symptom of pregnancy, not a period. Pre-period and period symptoms are so very similar to early pregnancy symptoms it is hard to differentiate.

Am I right to assume she is a teen? If this is the case, teen menstruation can vary from month to month, even in the most regular girl.

Unfortunately, she is still playing the waiting game. She will have to wait until next month to see if she misses her period.

Frightens me a little to hear your friend has been so irresponsible, pregnancy is not the only downside to unprotected sex. But I remember having brief moments of insanity in my teens, so I totally understand.

As everyone has said yes she could be pregnant and withdrawing is so not a form of contraception, if she won't get tested you will have to wait until her next period if it is light or she misses it get her off to the doctor.

Your friend may just be frightened of the possibility of being pregnant and waiting and not pushing her might be more effective. She could do home pregnancy test but for me they have never worked.
