Hey everybody. So my question is kind of gross, but here goes... so for about three weeks, I have been having brown discharge, sometimes actual blood. I'm on birth control, I get my period every three months and the discharge/ bleeding had been happening since I started my last pack for the three months. I have no cramping, or pain of any kind, and no other abnormal symptoms... help please?

It's probably spotting and dicharge from the BC, but if you've been on that BC a while and this hasn't happened, I would call the doctor and ak him or her to help you determine what is going on.

It's probaby the hormones just playing with your cycle, and I don't know about that BC that makes your period come only once every 3 months, it doesn't seem worth it now since people talk of constantly spotting while on it. Don't know though.

Anyway, you should probably talk to your doctor and seewhat he thinks you should do, maybe it's really normal, maybe you should switch to a different pill 'cause this one is playing with your hormones, maybe a lot of other things, who knows... just seems that 3 weeks is a long time for the spotting and stuff to continue.
