    So lost!
My boyfriend Ryker and I have been together for over a year now, happy as can be! But recently us both have been dealing with hard times and personal problems. And in a sense it's having a huge affect on our relationship. This past months especially, he's not the same he's acting so odd and different, saying he's not sure if he wants the commitment anymore and just last week he wanted a "break". Well... it lasted about a day, I did not communicate with him what so ever and he couldn't handle it. He pretty much pleaded to me to take him back because he simply just couldn't be without me. Things were going good, we were trying to forget the bad and start with new, and then last night he did this again. Now I have not communicated with him since last night,I just don't understand. I need ADVICE!!

Tell him you want to work as a team to solve some of those personal problems. I suggest you find a good relationship counselor who will act as a sort of referee and soundingboard for the two of you. The counselor will help you both set goals as you work together and separately to solve the various problems life has dished out to you.

Sitting back and being victims causes breaks in relationships, but working together bonds the two of you in a healthy relationship.

I have no idea how old you are but if you are a young person be very careful that he is not still wanting a break but is wanting to keep you available. That is a very cruel thing to do but I do know that guys do it. So be careful not to fall for his lines.

I too, would be curious as to your ages, as his behavior is immature and confusing. Working through bad times together, is a sign of a strong relationship, anyone can enjoy the good times. I would be extremely cautous with one so flaky.

I think you need a little longer of a break than just a day. More like a month. Give him time to think things over and see what he really wants.
