Can High blood sugars stop your menstrual cycle?
I don't think so but medicines or a poor diet can do that
Are you taking insulin or anything?
It is possible. How high is your sugar? If you are pregnant there are some other serious complications that can accompany diabetes and pregnancy.
They're not that high. I missed my period for November though and I don't usually miss a month.
What exactly has been diagnosed as causing the high?Quote:

Insulin is such a pain to adjust. I would recommend to get acquainted with the "Glycemic index" of foods. When you consume foods with a high gycemic index your insulin requirements go up. Some examples: pizza, white bread, ice cream
From everything I have been reading, my understanding is that cinnamon, green beans and some other green vegetables have a low glycemic index. One teaspoon of cinnamon a day and loads of green beans is suppose to help stabilize high blood sugar and get it somewhat a little more manageable. Ask your doc as long as he says it isn't bad for you...
