    Programmable Thermostats -- low settings
Is there limits on the low end temperatures in programmable thermostats? I would like to keep a space at around 38 F (4C). My traditional thermostat goes down to 48F/12C apprx). I would like to replace this with something that allows for cooler temperatures, yet still allows standard living conditions, if desired. I am looking at a Noma 5+1+1 as there is a half price sale this week I can take advantage of. Any one know if this will work?

    TIA

Look at the specifications of the thermostat to see how low it will allow you to set it. Some thermostats have a freeze setting that will just keep the temp above freezing. You will have to read the box label or look at the instruction sheet that comes with the thermostat.
