How do I simplify the square root of 32a cubed b squared c ?
Is this a homework problem :-) ?
When you square a square root it just gets rid of the square root so square root of 32 squared is simply 32
4 ab radical 2 ac doesn't seem very simplified, but I don't remember the process for sure so I am wondering about 2 times (2ab radical ac)
If you take the number inside the radical and make it multipliaction (change 32 to 16*2), you can take it outside the radical by takign the square root. This works with multiplication inside the radical, not with addition.
(16)(2)(a^3)(b^2)(c) all inside the radical, you take everything you can get a square root of.
(4)(a)(b) go outside the radical, because they're the square roots of (16)(a^2)(b^2). You still have an (a), a (2), and a (c) inside the radical, so it ends up being 4ab * radical(2ac)
