I was on Wellbutrin and Risperdal but I just came off it. I was just put on lexapro. I noticed I have weird pressures in my head along with being dehydrated. I also get cold chills in my head. I've also had a headach that goes to the side of my head around my eyes. There are times where I feel like I'm about to get sick. Under my eyes are starting to get dark. I looked up pressure in the head and a doctor did mention something about "teeth pain" and I've also had that and my jaw feeling weak. I get spacey feelings all the time like I'm not there or about to loose control but I think it's more anxiety. I got all this before I even started taking the new medication. What's going on?

How long have you been off the Wellbutrin and the Risperdal?

About 2 weeks, When I was taking it I never did take it 100% correct. There were times I would stop taking it for weeks at a time and then recontinue it. But this is the first time that I got these symptoms. I failed to mention that I have diarrhea too.

Did you just quit or did you taper off? These may be withdrawal side effects of the combined medication.

I just quit. Should I go to the hospital? Or will it calm down? The doctor that put me on new medication told me to quit, but I hadn't taken it for a whole week or 2 before she even took me off.

This could really be anything, a cold, the flu, withdrawal, etc. I can't tell you for sure without knowing your complete medical history or doing a physical exam.

Why not phone your doctor and see if she thinks you need to be seen.

Well since there were times that I quit taking my medication off and on awhile back ago and never got these symptoms then does that mean chances aren't its not being off medication?

Hun, it's really hard to say. As I said above, I don't know your entire history, don't know the amount in milligrams of the medication you were taking, don't know how long you have been taking them, can't give you a physical exam, etc. I wish I could give you a definitive answer, but I cannot. No one but your individual doctor can.
