If you are broken up, you shouldn't be talking. PERIOD.

Many times these are simple threats, made by teens like her, to get attention. Now, you tell her that since you are broken up, it is best that the two of you don't talk so that you both can move on.

This is a seriously unhealthy relationship.

The one reason could be shes feeling she has been neglected. so its better to make her understand...... yes its difficult to make someone understand initially but yes we need to try to make her understand only if you are serious about relation.
