You just send them a letter and tell them you filed for bankruptcy and the case number you were assigned. If you don't have that yet, give them the name of your lawyer. You can even call them and give them that info.

Your lawyer should be doing this for you

What does your attorney advise? Speak with him/her first.

The court ( attorney) notifies each of the creditors, they will have the opportunity to appeal thie filing, to challenge it and more. So they are always notified by the court.

If you wish to also tell them, ( you don't have to) you merely give them your attorneys name and address and the case number and tell them to contact your attorney on all future matters.
