Are you talking about the spout or the stem beneath the handle?

I'm talking about the pipe that's in the wall where the spout attaches too. When the cold water is turned on, I can stick my fingers in there and feel a leak coming from the pipe.

Is this with the spout on or off? Are you saying that the copper pipe that the spout slips on has a pin hole in it? Could I have some more details. Regards, Tom

What happened was the spout was dripping, so I tried to replace the inside parts of the on/off knob. When that didn't work, I went and bought a new knob and put that on. But when I turn the main water on, I can stick my fingers inside the wall and feel a leak in the main pipe right about where the little connector thing goes that the hot and cold water come from. It feels like the leak is on the pipe not the connector.
