Moen single faucett no water out of tap
g'day I have an immense problem The moen single faucett in my kitchen was leaking so I took it apart went to the big box store got the replacement cartridge installed it now I can't get any water iout of the tap The sprayer is building up heaps of pressure and works too well Pulled it all apart no clogs in the cold or hot Water comes out of the top without the cartridge in (water everywher!) tried forwards backwards I believe it has something to do with the valve / gasket past the cartidge to the actual water outlet

Did you remove the aerator from the spout and check and clean the screens?

Yes the aerater is off. Made sure there was no bolckage in the actual tap (where) the aerater is Got the tap part ofrf water comes out of the unit fine but won't come out when the water direction thing is on Also when I move it about the little or no water either stops or slows down to a trickle

What number cartridge is the replacement? Have you shut the water off and removed the cartridge to check the inlet ports for trash? With the cartridge removed place a pan over the open valve body and turn the water on for a minute to flush out the supplies. Did you get a strong stream hitting the pan? Back to you. Tom

Have you checked the diverter located under and in front of the spout?

That would be under the sink about 2inches in diameter which feeds the sprayer to the right of the assembley

Yes very similar with the spout sleeve off there is a collar with two o rings under them on the unit is one that is the seal for the spout sleeve with a retainer clip that locks the cartridge onto the master unit I can blow air through all of these things (with my mouth) but can't work out how water gets to the spout sleeve
