Heater won't come on

Okay I have a Carrier gas Furnace. The big metal part that the main gas line hooks up to was replaced and the ignitor is new. Also I just replaced the board cause a few people told me that it was bad (it wasn't).

Here's my problem: The unit turns on, pilot light clicks then you can see the pilot light, after a little while the pilot goes out and starts clicking again until the pilot turns on.

Then nothing, there's nothing that turns red or gets hot (I don't know what to look at so I looked at everything) and nothing gets hot what so ever.

I don't know names of parts or even if you told me the name of it I wouldn't know what you were talking about, so any help with a description of the parts would help out greatly.

You could be in over your head on this one.
I am just taking a guess like everyone else on this board since we are not there but to small of a pilot lite will cause these kinds of problems.
The orifice in the pilot burner assembly could be to small OR you need to adjust the pilot gas to provide a larger flame.> (replaced you said) Second picture down outlined in red.

There should be a good size pilot there to activate the safety control that is built into it. Look around on the gas valve> third picture down for a screw that says pilot gas. Try giving it one turn down/clockwise. If it makes no difference try two turns. Make sure you have a reference point so as not to turn more than that. Report back as to your findings.

I found the Pilot Adjust and turned it clockwise like you said, but the light got smaller, so I went counter clockwise and went 2 turns past the reference point and the flame is still the same size and still no Heater.

How big is the flame? Does it engulf the safety.

It's not that big, no it doesn't engulf the safety... I tried to turn it more to make it bigger, but it just stays the same size.

Is there any way to take a pic when the pilot is lit? I am afraid to have you increase the pilot orifice if not necessary.

Does the small cobustion fan run?

I was trying to take a pic but now the pilot isn't coming on... Trying to get it going. Yes there is a small fan on.

Okay here's a pic of the pilot light... There are 2 screws, one smaller with a metal adjustable screw inside and a larger gold screw with a plastic adjuster inside. Should I adjust both or just one of them?

Do not adjust the screws on the pilot assembly they are factory set. I only said to try to adjust the pilot gas pressure on the main gas valve.
Actually it looks like you have plenty of pilot according to the picture.

Try this. There is a round device called a pressure control. It has two wires going to it. Jump the two wires together to by pass this control temporary. This device has a warning label and do disconnect the power before you jumper it. If this lites the burner do not leave it jumpered to run the furnace. Shut the furnace down and get the part replaced before you run it again. Report back.

The only round thing I see with a Warning label on it is in my 4th picture. Is that what your talking about?

If so there are 3 wires on there not 2 so which 2 do I jump? If you can see in the picture there's a red, brown and yellow.

On the other side of that device is there a plastic/vinyl tube?

That may not work simply because most control boards will not go through trial for ignition if it senses that the pressure switch is closed BEFORE a call for heat. This is a safety built into the board to prevent the unit from operating if the switch failed in the closed position.

Have you tried to clean the pilot orifice?

Yes there is a Plastic tube on the back side.

Yes I cleaned the Pilot Orifice, but now since I took it apart and have been playing with it, the Pilot only stays on for 10-15 seconds then just clicks and tried to ignite again.

Make sure the plastic tube is clear of all debris. Blow it out if possible.

I FIXED IT~!! Okay it was the (orifice) I think... The little metal that sparks to ingnites the pilot light and also sends a signal after being heated for a little bit. Okay it was too far from the flame. At first I bent it out a little and noticed that I wasn't getting anymore flame from the Pilot so I bent it in closer and my heater works great...
