    My cat was traumatized
I just got a kitten we adopted from the local SPCA, his name is Charlie. He was a cute little thing full of energy and he absolutely craved attention. A night ago I had two friends stay over, they had their sleeping bags, pillows , etc. all together next to bed. My mom went into my room to get something off my night stand. She stepped over all of their stuff and right on Charlie! She then took him to the vet because we could tell something was wrong, he was acting almost in slow motion. The vet couldn't find anything wrong. Throughout the day today he's just wanted to sleep, or sit there and stare. He won't play with his toys or eat a lot of food, we've tried switching food but he only eats a little. He was okay with being picked up earlier but now he doesn't like it. WHAT SHOULD I DO?? IM REALLY WORRIED

Don't switch his food. Hopefully he is on kitten food. Watch his poo and pee. For signs of blood or limping. But if she took him to the vet hopefully all is well.
Just leave him be for a day or so. Maybe tomorrow intice him with a game of dragging a toy on a string or rolling a small ball around. In a day or so, he will figure out that pain is not the norm for his new home and come back around... just don't force it.
A good idea is to get him a bed of his own maybe one that attaches to the window or a cat tree that includes a place for him to sleep in safety.

I'm not sure if you are a new pet owner but here is some information on cat/kitten. We have really nice, helpful cat lovers on here that will always be happy to give advice. Care.ASPCA: Pet Care: Cat Care
