    Hiding emotions
I foolishly fell in love with someone. I have never met a man like this before.
He didn't like to kiss or even touch hardly at all. His wife left him after many years of marriage, three kids.
He told me that he doesn't show feelings because that way he won't get hurt. I am on my own again, but feel dead inside, changed for the worst and I blame him.
Is it unhealthy to purposely hide your emotions?

Did he tell you he doesn't show feelings before you fell in love? And if he did not show feelings, which I'm assuming this is something you want and need, why did you stay with him.
I can understand your hurt, I just don't understand why you are blaming him.
Personally I think it is unhealthy to hide emotions, it takes too much unnecessary energy. I'm all for being real. Using common sense, but being real. What you see is what you get, then people know where they stand with you.

Yeah I think it is extremely unhealthy and potentially damaging to hide your emotions.

I wish you the best of luck.
