    Thermostat
    What thermostat to buy
I have purchased a Qmark electric toe space heater (S1504TB) to install under my kitchen cabinet. I 'm looking to install a wall thermostat to control the temp in the kitchen. The user manual requires me to us a double pole thermostat but it also states:

"A double pole wall thermostat of the type where both poles cycle on and off by temperature change cannot by used with this heater. Only one pole may cycle and this pole must cycle heating element only, not the motor. Cycling both supply leads will defeat fan delay off feature and result in over-heating and possible damage to heater"

Is there a thermostat like this and where would I be able to purchase it? Wold there be any additional wiring that I would have to do? Thanks for your help.

Most standard 2 pole line voltage thermostats do what is required.

One pole closes immediately being turned On, one pole will open and close as the temperature requires.

See page 4 of the attached installation instructions for a wiring diagram and explanation:http://www.cadetco.com/support/ownersguides/1016.pdf

One wire to the fan will need to be fed by the switched leg of the stat, the heater will need to connect to the controlled leg of the stat.
