I went to a friend that is currently going to cosmetology school. He told me I would look good if I went a little bit darker because of my skin tone. I told him I like the idea but that I wanted it to be a dark blonde to light brown.

He picked the color redken 6nb which I came to find out that had a red under tone... My hair came out a dark reddish brown and faded into a lil' orange in certain areas.

I really don't like the way I look with my hair that dark. It makes me look so much older. So I want to go back to blonde . I was thinking probably just adding highlight asnd dying the rest a lighter, not red color. However I don't want the highlights to look a natural color and not JUST A LIGHTER VERSION of the weird redddish color I have...

WHAT SHOULD I DO ? IREALLY WANT IT TO LOOK NICE FOR CHRISTMAS WHICH IS LESS THAN A MONT AWAY... PLEASE HELP!! :)

In order to go back to blonde, you will need to bleached your hair to a yellow stage and then deposit a toner. Anything other than that will result in a red/orange shade. Hair bleaching is a difficult process and should only be attempted by professionals. If possible, go to a salon and get it profesionally done.
