How to get hot water faster
I was trying to find out what can be installed on our hot water that will enable us to get hot water faster and what is the general cost to add it? Our hot water heater is easily accessible in our garage and I thought I've heard something like a 'booster' can be added, so that we don't have to run our master shower (farthest away from heater) for a long time to get hot water.

    Thank you

Why not install a recirulating system. Check out how they work at;Hot Water Recirculating System - Installation Tips
Or Google "hot water recirculating system" on your search bar. Good luck, Tom

With ever increasing utility costs, the circulater system will be expensive. I got some relief by moving my water heater closer to where we use use most of the hot water and rerouting some of the pipes.

Running a return line would be a plus if you don't care much about the cost... its a great set up and cuts down heat time to almost nothing... moving the heater closer will cost as well as you will have to move the lines along with the heater... if you are worried about wasting water here is an idea that we in the drought states are doing... let the cold water fill a bucket and use it to flush the WC.. helps to cut down on water use... just a thought.
