Want to go back to home state w/daughter
Please advise me. My husband, my daughter and myself moved to Houston, Texas in March of this year, 07. He just told me last week that our marriage needs to be over. We moved here for his job. All of our relatives and close friends are back in Michigan. He say's he has not filed yet. I want to know if they can make me come back if I leave with daughter, planning on living with my sister and her family for a while, get some stability going, get a job. I think I will have to get a lawyer from Texas and let him/her represent me.

If the local court here in Harris County does tell me to come back am I able to stay at the place of resident I left (w/husband). My name is on the house.

I have no emotional support here, I need to be home, I need my daughter. Husband is currently traveling about 50% of time. Would let him have visitation and frequent phone contact, want them to have relationship, but I do not want to stay in Texas.

Thanks for any advise.

I don't see why you could not go. You will have to come back for any hearing and probably (if the state requires this) for parenting classes.
As far as the house is concerned. You could legally stay there but would you want to?

Does your husband know that you plan on relocating?
