    Stretch marks ?
I have stretch marks on my inner thighs and breasts because I gained weight really fast, a few months ago I went from 95 pounds to 130, I have used vitamin e and cocoa butter and it doesn't seem to do much of anything and they aren't even fading so I just wanted to know what I should be doing or using to make them fade. Thanks.

They say to use maderma for scars. You could try that. I heard that it works great.

Unfortunately, stretch marks are permanent and there really isn't anything you can do to remove them, unless you have them surgically removed. Topical creams containing lanolin, cocoa butter and Vitamin E may help soften stretch marks, but will not get rid of them. Bio Oil won't remove stretch marks, however, it help improve the appearance of stretch marks. Bio Oil is now available in some pharmacies in the United States.

If there was a cure.. I would have cured mine by now. I am stuck with horrendous stretch marks that I want to get rid of so badly. I have researched options about them..

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but they will never go away. Stretch marks cannot be fixed by merely applying something to the top of the skin. The breakage of collagen starts from deep under your skin.. not outside where only creams can penetrate. You can't reach the damaged areas with creams, etc.. They're too deep.

The only thing that will truly fade them is time.. it also depends on how well your body heals itself.. if you are prone to scarring badly.. your stretch marks will probably be more pronounced in the end and not fade as much as someone else's. It usually takes about a year or more to see good improvement of stretch marks.. that's from the time you get them.

I have heard some encouraging things, though. Some dermatologists think that the acne med retin-a can help improve the appearance of stretch marks a bit. It is only by prescription and it can penetrate the skin whereas over the counter products cannot.

Hope this helps. If you find a cure.. let me know. :)

Oo yeah streach marks. I HATE THEM TOO. I lost weight from I was 5'7 and 145, and now still 5'7 and 116, and I was left with stretch marks on my tighs, hips and some on my breast, I have been using this oil called " Bio-oil, " and I would have to say it has been reducing the apprance of them. I used it for a month and I'm really happy with it, you should try it. You could get it at wallgreens, just go to .: Bio Oil :. or just Google it. Its worth a try

Trilasti sr works greatfor me... but from what I heard it doesn't work the same way for everyone... Bio oil is very greasy but it only makes your stretch marks fade a little bit and after a long period, not really effective.
