The feed hot to the unused 2nd brass screw on the recp (and likewise the
Feed neutral to the unused 2nd silver screw) to feed the next receptacle. I've
Rehabbed many houses and I see this was the original method used by the builder.
Now I hear some say that the little metal knockout tab between the screws
On a recept. Is not thick enough to safely provide the 15/20 amps downline
Of that recept. so this method is not good and one should pigtail w /wirenuts
Each recept. In a chain. It's a lot more work to pigtail each recept. Do I need
To do this or can I use the 2 screw method?
