    How do I adapt a 3 prong cord to a 2 prong?
What can I use to reduce a new 3 prong extension cord to the 2 prong cord on Christmas lights? I know they must make something for this problem!

    I'm a little confused.

The two prong Christmas lights should plug into the 3 prong plug. If it doesn't turn the Christmas plug around. On the two prong plug on the Christmas lights, one blade is wider than the other. The same is true on the slotted connections on the 3 prong socket.

There are ADAPTERS that go on 3 prong plug to make them 2 prong

Most hardware stores sell them for 50 cents a piece
