    Am I Pregnant?
I always had irregular periods, the gap between two periods varies from 30-45 days. I am 28, married,This time my periods are 20 days late, I did 2 pregnancy tests which came positive (a gap of 3 days from the 1 st test). I do get cramps in my lower abdomen & sometimes back pain too.Dont know if my periods are near or am I pregnant? Well I excerise for at least 30 minutes for 5 days in a week(which includes crossramp & trademill). Can you tell me am I pregnant? & when do I approach a doctor?"

Positive tests, especially since you had 2 positive tests, are usually correct, but may be wrong every once in a while... however, I think you probably are pregnant. Go see a doctor for a blood test to know for sure.

I think it's never too early to see the doctor.
Can anything bad happen from that?

I've been taught that it's not possible to get a false positive in a pregnancy test. If Human Growth Hormone (what the test looks for) is present, pregnancy is. It's not too soon to go see a doctor. I'd recommend a midwife. I had my second child at home on my couch with a midwife in attendance. It was awesome!

This is not true. There are certain conditions that do indeed produce a false positive. While they are rare, they do indeed exist.

No, prenatal vitamins will not give you a positive.

Only pregnancy, and in some rare cases, and note I said rare, will you get a positive. The false positives are caused by rare hormonal disorders and/or carcinomas.
