    Can I make my boyfriend give up his rights to his child
    Can I make my boyfriend give up his rights to his daughter.we have never been married.he hasn't seen her in over a year. Now he is taking me back to court to redo visitation and she hate's him and doesn't want to go.is there anything I can do.what question do I ask my attorney about this

    You cannot MAKE him give up his rights, he must do that voluntarily unless you can prove that he is a danger to himself or the child.

    There are umpteen threads on this issue here. I suggest you check them out. But no you can't force him to relinquish unless you can prove he presents a danger to the child. If not, he can force visitation. You don't say how old she is, but if she doesn't want to see him, that will be considered by the judge.

    Just ask your attorney what can be done about it.
