    Baseball thrown up
    A 0.150 kg baseball is thrown upward with an initial speed od 20.0 m/s

    Questions:
    a. what is the force on the ball when it reaches half of its maximum height? (disreguard air resistance)
    b. what is the force on the ball when I reaches its peak?

    Please help. I'm so lost right now.

    This looks like a trick question aimed at measuring your confusion. If you disregard air resistance, the only force on it is the weight. So the answer to both a. and b. is

    W = m*g = 0.150 kg*9.8 m/s^2 = 1.47 kg*m/s^2 = 1.47 Newtons
