ive been looking for a tv serie that came out in the 90s(92-93) and before x-files. its was something like x-files and i remember that one of the scientists was called commendor doyle or something.

Could it have been Poltergeist: The Legacy? It ran from 1996 through 1999 and featured a character named Boyle.

By the way I think this guy dan aykroyd is in the serie too he is like a resumer at the end of the show
