    Hair dye to dark
I had foils put in my hair a few months ago, naturally I am reddish brown, the foils were blond and red, I decided after a few months to go back to my natural color, however when I dyed my hair, natural brown, it came out looking black, how do I go about getting the dye to fade fast without stripping or bleaching my hair?

Nothing will really take it out without stripping it. I am a hairstylist and the only thing you can do is wash it with something harsh such as head and sholders shampoo, baking soda also helps, it will strip your hair a bit. Good luck

The only way to strip your hair is to have the color chemically removed. If your hair came out too dark, it can be faded slightly by washing it with clarifying shampoos, dandruff shampoos or dish detergent such as Dawn. When you wash your hair, make sure that you use a deep conditioner afterwards to restore moisture in your hair. If you're really unhappy with your current color, you might want to go to the salon and have a stylist perform a color correction.
