I have SS deposited into my checking account and I know that no one can freeze that money, but I'm concerned about my pension. Is tha money safe also? I do work two days a week to suplement my income. Is that safe also?

Once it's IN the account, the bank doesn't know where it came from, so they'll take it ALL. If it were me, I'd let the bank know which is the SS. They'll get your pension and your income money.

Why doesn't the bank know? Because it's automated and doesn't look. If it did, it would know. That's why you give them a heads up, so they'll mark the account and it will be handled properly.
