We were recently in the dominican republic and danced a line dance to a song. It gave instructions how to dance it, sometimes the girls danced alone, other times the guys danced alone- it had 3 claps in it several times. Do you know the name? Thanks, ;)

Thanks, but I don't think that was the song, I think it was a salsa or spanish song, really fun to dance. Thanks for your thoughts.:) :) :)

Does it say everybody clap your hands
Or hands on your knees
And slide to the left
Now slide to the right then criss cross
If it does that is the Cha Cha Slide!

It's hard to describe but it doesn't say that. You dance awhile and shake your hips, turn around and clap, clap, clap- then start it all over again- it was in spanish so hard to understand for me, but thanks, it seems like it's a local line dance song from the DR, never heard it before and haven't heard it since.
